MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS AND THE COLLEGE STUDENT
Presented by Patti Lawlor, M. Ed., LPC
Join us as we view a very informative public health forum presentation and discuss the ever growing concern of mental health among college students. Learn how various colleges, foundations, and mental health entities are pushing for mental health reform and education. During their international college survey The World Health Organization found that 31% of entering students come in with an identified mental health disorder.
We will learn about the concept of "Emotional Preparedness" and the 4 factors which have been shown to be a stronger predictor of college success than academic preparedness.
