Board of Directors
Our board of directors work hard to keep our organization running. We welcome you to inquire about participating. From serving on a committee as a new member to taking on the role of the president, we have all sorts of roles to fill and we always welcome new help! If you'd like to get a feel for us, you are welcome to attend a board meeting, which are held quarterly on Sundays. Please email us to inquire about attending a board meeting or to learn about current openings on our board and committees.
President: Erin Groeteke
The president manages the operations of the organization. Responsibilities include leading board meetings and CEU meetings. Message our president if you are interested in speaking at an upcoming CEU event, or if you know of someone who may be able to provide an interesting CEU presentation to our membership.
President-Elect: Vacant
The president-elect assists the president in management of the organization in order to learn the processes of the organization before serving as president.
Past President: Edward Wilson
The past president advises and assists the new president in orienting to the responsibilities of managing the organization.
Secretary: Vanencia Lynch
The secretary records the minutes at our quarterly board meeting and distributes the minutes to board members as well as handles any other communication on behalf of the board.

The treasurer maintains records of all financial transactions made by the organization and provides a report of finances at quarterly board meetings. The treasurer is also responsible for making payments on behalf of the organization and depositing any payments received by the organization. The membership chair manages new member applications and membership renewals. The membership chair assists new members in orienting to the organization and accessing their online profile. The membership chair coordinates with the treasurer to ensure membership fees are recorded and deposited. Social Chair: Ashlee Flournoy
The social chair organizes all social events, including happy hours, networking meetings, holiday events, and fundraising efforts. Message our social chair if you are interested in helping out with our organization's events.
Program Chair: Dr. Chanta Moore
The program chair prepares and provides CEU evaluation forms and certificates at each meeting, as well as presenter recognition plaque. The program chair collects completed evaluation forms, sign in sheets, and other documentation to save in case of audit by the state licensing board.
Communications Co-Chair (Email): Laura Hamilton
The e-mail communications chair is responsible for communicating announcements on behalf of the organization via our email newsletter. These announcements may include upcoming HLPCA events, job announcements, and any other announcements sent in by members of the organization. Message our e-mail communications chair if you have an announcement or job posting you would like to share with the membership via the newsletter.

The social media communications chair is responsible for communicating announcements on behalf of the organization via our social media sites. These announcements may include upcoming HLPCA events, job announcements, and any other announcements sent in by members of the organization. The website assistant is responsible for updating the website, including the HLPCA's blog, "HLPCA Happenings." If you would like to be featured in our blog or have questions about the website, message our website assistant.

The media/video chair records CEU presentations. The media/video chair maintains archival copies of each recording for reference and distribution, when requested. Message our media/video chair if you are interested in obtaining a recording of a past CEU presentation.
Committee Members:
Committee members assist committee chairs in their duties. Duties for committee members vary from committee to committee. Members can serve on multiple committees. Serving on a committee is a great way to get your feet wet in the organization!
