Stephanie Ellis, Ph.D., Chair of the Department of Leadership & Counseling  and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Houston Baptist University will present on how easy it is to become trapped or influenced by past diagnostic patterns. She will discuss brain tendencies and human behaviors which can limit our access to information during our initial contact with clients, possibly leading us down the wrong path.
