January CEU Meeting: Play Therapy: Basics for Working with Children

Hayley L. Stulmaker, PhD, LPC-S will be presenting on play therapy.  

Child-Centered Play Therapy is a developmentally appropriate way to help children work through their struggles in counseling. Using the child’s natural language of play, counselors are better able to communicate with children to help facilitate their therapeutic process. This presentation will cover the basics of play therapy and will teach participants the basic skills to conduct play therapy sessions.
